Bio
I am doing my PhD in Marine Biology at the University of Cape Town, focusing on using mathematical modelling to understand the processes on cold-water corals reefs.
I enjoy learning new things and sharing that knowledge, I think the desire to share knowledge combined with a desire to see school students perform as well as they can will make me a great tutor.

Achievements
• Getting my honours thesis published
• Establishing an international working relationship for my PhD with a Norwegain co-supervisor.
• My proudest none academic achievement was finishing my first half marathon, now on to a full one

Life Sciences (Biology)
I am currently doing my PhD in Marine Biology. Biology has always interested me and I would love to be able to pass on some of the knowledge that I have gained over the years.
Physical Science
Physics is a balance of Mathematics and logical thinking. Having taken Physics at a first year level, I feel that I am in a position to help other who struggle with this subject.
Chemistry
Chemistry is often bunched with Physics at a school level, it would be nice to help those who have the opportunity to take this subject by itself do well at it.
Mathematics
While I am a biological science major, my honours, masters and PhD work has focused on the application of mathematical modelling to biological systems. I look forward to the chance to help others improve , and to foster enjoyment for the subject
