Mathematics

I loved high school math. I took part in every mathematics Olympiad and even achieved merit certificates in the second round of the Harmony Olympiad. I have helped many of my friends with their math and most of them managed to achieve distinctions.

Afrikaans

I have a great passion for Afrikaans, I plan on becoming a high school Afrikaans teacher. I excelled in Afrikaans literature and can easily teach both language and literature. I am also studying Afrikaans at university level.

English

I thoroughly enjoy English. I helped many of my Afrikaans friends with their English and it was very evident in their results. I am also studying English at university level.

Geography

My favourite high school subject was Geography. I immensely enjoyed Geography and was the top student in my class. I am also studying Geography at university level.

Life Sciences (Biology)

Biology is truly a subject I am very passionate and knowledgeable about. I really enjoyed tutoring my friends in Biology and even just testing each other's knowledge.

Physical Science

I have experience tutoring Science as many of my friends needed help throughout school. I would love to help others with this (sometimes rather complex) but fascinating subject.

English Literature

I have a great love for English and have excelled at it in my first year at Stellenbosch University. My essays have all been awarded distinctions and I have received a distinction for English Studies 178.

Afrikaans

I have loved every second of Afrikaans and Dutch 178 and have excelled in the assignments and exams. I can write brilliant essays and have a vast understanding of the work discussed in Afrikaans en Nederlands 178.

Geography

Geography has always been a great love of mine and I have achieved distinctions in both semesters (125 and 154).

Psychology

I thoroughly enjoy psychology and understanding how the mind works, and human behaviour. I have excelled in my exams and done fairly well in my semester tasks.
