Accounting

I am a professional accountant with over 10 years professional experience. I was an accounting tutor at the University of Pretoria and I have taught English in Brussels for nearly 2 years.

Life Sciences (Biology)

I obtained one of the highest marks in the province for Biology in my Grade 12 year. It is a subject I am very passionate about.

French

I am a native French speaker with bilingual sensibilities having emigrated from a French speaking country and studied in an English speaking one. I just recently returned from Belgium where I obtained a B1 Business French Diploma from the prestigious French school CCI Paris-Ile-De-France.

English

I have taught English in Europe, where I am completing a Master's Degree in English Literature and Linguistics, for close to 2 years now.

Dutch

The forefather of the Afrikaans language, the Dutch language shares many similarities with the former, but quite distinct in its own right. Being an Afrikaans speaker, I was able to learn Dutch up to level B1 quite easily (2.1) while In Europe and I can teach it up to level A2 (1.2) to a beginner.

Economics

This is a subject that occupies a special place in my heart in light of its significance to everyone concerned, both on a macro and micro-economics level. Wherether we like it or not, the economic policies of a country affect all of us and in this age of globalisation, even more so.

Business Management

Having managed a startup and helped many other startups raise capital, I know the importance of sound business management principles, and in this age of technological innovation, inculcating in young people sound business management principles from the onset is the right path forward.

Statistics

This is a subject I have always had a strong afinity for in light of my strong attachment to mathematics (algebra and geometry). Being able to provide sound statistical analysis is the bedrock of modern research and innovation. It’s a skill that’s key in the 4th Industrial Revolution.
