Bio
I am a patient and humorous individual, I take any opportunity to bring out the best in people and tutoring is just an extension of being able to do so. I love public speaking , drama and dancing.
Anyone who works in the field of psychology would consider themselves empathic. However I feel I offer a unique perspective and understanding having had both positive and challenging experience in my Highschool career and Tertiary education. I am always keen to try understand others perspectives and unique learning styles so as to provide the best basis for success.

Subjects
- School Tutoring
Afrikaans
I was raised both English and Afrikaans, thus I am able to translate Afrikaans words and explain more effectively to English students. I have been tutoring in this subject for the last 4 years to both primary school and high school students.
Mathematics
I feel that I hold the ability to help students with patience and ease. I spent hours everyday on my math and understand that sitting down with someone to go over the material works wonders. I encourage students and will guide them through each step.
English
Having practised integrative tutoring over the last year I’ve familiarised myself with the English curriculum for CAPS - I most enjoy working with critical language skills for lower grades up until grade 8. I am able to assist learners in moving towards building self-confidence and mastery!

I am currently in my honors year completing my BPsych Equivalent Honors. I did extremely well in my undergraduate over all, however my favorite modules include Counselling Modalities and Theories of Personality, Research and Statistics, as well as Family /Couples Therapy.
Research
My experience lies in various theoretical research underpinnings, approaches to data collection as well as data analysis. My experience over the years has allowed me to conduct practical research which is both of qualitative and quantitative nature. Its only scary until you understand it and try it!
Statistics
Once you've learnt the equations , methods and criteria of statistical principles, the difference between an excellent or average grade could be the practical understanding and applications of this knowledge. I aim to assist in bridging this gap, enabling students to apply what they have learnt.
