I am a patient and compassionate person who wants to help others. Since high school, academics have been very important to me, and I am serious and persistent when it comes to achieving goals.
I believe that I am empathetic towards others. This allows me to understand how someone may be feeling, and will therefore help me in knowing exactly what it is that I can do to aid that individual. I genuinely want to help others and I believe that this alone will take me far in being great at it.

Achievements
• One of my goals in high school was to be part of the top ten academic achievers in my grade. By the end of Grade 11, I had achieved this and then remained in the top ten until I left school.

Subjects
- School Tutoring
Life Sciences (Biology)
Biology was the subject that interested me the most in high school. I am currently studying physiotherapy and believe that my extended knowledge on the topic of biology gathered through my university studies as well as my love for the subject would make me a great tutor.
English
English was not a subject that I naturally understood, but rather a subject in which I worked hard to develop my skills. I believe that this will allow me to effectively tutor a student by passing down methods that I used to simplify and correctly answer test and essay questions in this subject.
Afrikaans
Afrikaans is my home language, however I have only ever attended English schools. I believe this will make me an effective Afrikaans First Additional language tutor as I have the knowledge of the Afrikaans language and am able to communicate it to an English student.
Economics
I had a knack for economics in high school, and it was therefore one of my favorite subjects. I am aware of the style of questions and desired answers, and how to break down test questions in order to give the correct answer.
