Business Studies

I will be able to offer good study tips, application skills (for both paper 1 and paper 2) and help you achieve your academic goals. Lastly I will help with writing skills for paper 2.

Drama

I will be able to offer tips on how to write essays, how to analyze plays, performance preparations (character analysis, voice exercises, getting into character and with certain acting methods) as well as helping the student build their confidence and stage presence.

Mathematics Literacy

I find I am able to explain difficult concepts in a way people can understand, making their learning more enjoyable and successful. I will be able to assist with exam preparation (exam tips & past papers).

Life Orientation

I will help with current affairs and how to apply it in essays or long questions. As well as interpretation of questions and media (cartoons, articles, stories etc.)

Natural Science

I will be able to tutor grade 8 and 9 students. I have experience in tutoring a grade 9 student, I create worksheets, quizzes and make use of fun educational videos that assist with the understanding of the subject.

English

I studied English as a Home Language from primary until matric. I know what is expected in literature and in language. I will help in the preparations for papers 1 and 2. As well as going through past papers because they tend to help create context.

Zulu

I studied isiZulu from grade 8 until matric. I know how to communicate and write in isiZulu. I am willing to assist beginners.

Conversational English

I studied English as a home language in primary and high school, so I am fluent in it and I am good at communicating as well as expressing myself using the language. I would also be able to help isiXhosa and isiZulu speaking students learn how to speak English well.

Xhosa

I did intermediate IsiXhosa in my first year and I passed well. I will be able to explain terms, help with pronunciation, writing and teach the student how to express themselves well in the language.
