Bio
I am multi-faceted, creative, kind, patient and empathetic. I hold a BSc in Civil Engineering and an MA/MSc in Design Engineering and hope to inspire others to think creatively about tricky problems.
As someone who struggled to find my feet academically in high school, I love to help other people find theirs. I had great tutors who inspired me academically and this laid a foundation that I took forward into my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. As a tutor, designer, engineer and researcher my key strength is my creativity, which I believe can be taught, or carefully instilled, in anyone.

• Getting into my PhD at Stellenbosch University.

Mathematics
I am an empathetic and patient tutor as I struggled with Maths prior to Matric (averaging 60%). Between Grades 11 and 12 I increased my marks by over 20% and ended up getting into and completing an Engineering degree. Point is, I get it, Maths is hard but I'm here to help in a kind way.
Art
As one of my top Matric results, I've continued an artistic practice making large-scale sculptures and paintings and hold an MA in Design from the Royal College of Art in the UK. It's a lifelong passion and I would love to inspire more students!
History
I achieved 88% in History in Matric and I am an excellent proofreader with a passion to write academically.
English
I enjoyed English throughout high school and love to edit my own and others’ written work. As an editor, I try to understand your ideas first, and why you’ve chosen to present them that way, before helping you develop them.
Physics
I love problem-solving. More often than not I’ve found that all that is needed is another perspective, rather than a direct answer, to help you understand the tricky puzzles Physics can provide.

I’ve published in the South African Institution of Civil Engineering Journal and have reviewed papers for the International Journal of Energy Research and Social Science. I’d be happy to help with proofreading dissertations.
