Bio
I am a qualified primary school teacher. I taught Afrikaans, English, music and all the other primary school subjects except maths for several years- with good results. Not teaching currently.
Thorough preparation , thorough drilling and repetition. Lastly, making sure that the learner DOES understand and do it right.
Education
• 1989-1992: HOD Sen. Prim.
• I taught in White River, Nelspruit, Lyttleton. Basically all learning areas.
• I also worked as an After care teacher at Laerskool Skuilkrans.

• I sang in a Youth choir.
• Went to Saawcol.
• As an aftercare teacher, almost 25% of the top 5 candidates came from my aftercare class.

I am a qualified Teacher with decades of teaching experience. I am highly experienced in teaching language subjects. I am fully fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
Music Theory
I excelled in theory, piano and clarinet.
Life Sciences (Biology)
I had Biology till matric and unfortunately just missed my distinction in the end. I was always fascinated by the finer detail of life - and all the miraculous processes in living things. I taught NSC and Biology up to grade 9 and loved to see the students' reactions as they discovered life.
English
I studied to become a teacher and did English II. I started teaching in a bilingual school and taught all subjects in English as well as Afrikaans. Later I taught English - first and second language - with good results. I enjoy teaching the language and love to see learners becoming excellent.
Homework
I am a qualified Teacher with decades of teaching experience. I work on building what the learner has done at school. I don't just help the learner to complete the homework rather we start by explaining and unpacking their understanding of the various subjects.
