Bio
I am a passionate teacher who has loved every day of a career spanning 37 years. I particularly enjoy working with students. If I could go back and choose again, I would do the same.
I am an empathic teacher and I have had great success assisting pupils in my class. I have a knowledge of and/or experience of learning difficulties. I teach my students to set realistic goals. I believe that one's past experience and sense of self-worth play an integral part in a student's ability to learn and succeed. I can help a student to recognize their strengths and work towards them.

• I taught all grade 3, 4 and 5 subjects at various schools and specialized in Grd 7 English for the last 20 years

Achievements
• I achieved excellent results at school and at a tertiary level.
• I have published textbooks (English and Geography) and I have also been involved in setting and moderating IEB Common Assessment Grd 7 English Exams for ten years.

I have over 37 years I have taught grade 4 to 8 all subjects, including Maths, Science and Afrikaans but my true specialization in has been English. I have also had extensive experience teaching foreign students from all over Africa and the Far East.
