Bio
I come from a family of educators, so learning and helping others to learn is in my blood. I'm on a break between jobs and would love to be useful! In my free time, I love to cook and play guitar :)
I am accommodating, and I try to understand the root of a student's mistake or confusion with a concept. I am currently a part-time geography tutor for first-year students at UCT. In the past, I've also tutored second-year human geography students, ran study workshops for high school STEM subjects from home, and been appointed student shadow-teacher in school for English, Science and Math.

Life Sciences (Biology)
Biology has always been my favourite subject, so much so that I went on to study it at an undergrad and postgrad level. In grade 12, I ran study workshops out of my home for biology, chemistry, pure maths and physics. Then, at university I was a tutor and lab demonstrator to bio students.
Geography
The foundation of my postgrad thesis is in geographical concepts. The study of landscapes and the systems it holds has always fascinated me. Getting to impress this expanded worldview upon burgeoning science and/or geography students is something I thoroughly enjoy.
English
Besides being the eldest child of two highly experienced english teachers, I attended school in the UAE where I had exposure to Cambridge, Pearson, Edexcel & AP English. I then completed high school in South Africa with the NSC curriculum.
Mathematics
I am a science student, and I recently completed my honours in Environmental and Geographical Science. Mathematics is the foundation for most of my work.
