I am a friendly, gentle, patient and enthusiastic person and am constantly curious about learning. I have a passion for teaching others and helping them achieve their goals.

• BA Degree (psych & anthro). BSocSci (Hons). MSocSci. Tutor and teaching experience uni classes in Anthropology and private tutoring psych. I have experience tutoring as an Au Pair for ages 7 -12.

Achievements
• Achieving my Honours degree with a high average was a dream come true.
• Being able to work and save to have traveled independently overseas. I was proud that I had raised all the money myself and taken my first major leap of independence.

Geography
Geography was one of my favorite subjects in high school, my passion for this subject motivated me to excel. I have experience in tutoring Matric and Primary School level (Grade 4 and 5) Geography.
History
History is a fascinating topic of study for me, and I still carry on with history in my university degree. I excelled in History at school, and as an aspect of my university degree. I have experience tutoring high school level history to Matric.
Mathematics Literacy
Mathematics Literacy was one of my highest performing subjects in high school. I am patient in helping students grasp the foundational elements of Maths Literacy to help them succeed. I am a marker for Maths Literacy for UCTs online High School, so am up-to-date with current curricula.

Philosophy
Philosophy is an essential subject for developing critical thinking. The topics and ways of thinking covered in philosophy can be difficult to grasp. I believe I have a skillful understanding of these and can explain them clearly and concisely.
Psychology
Psychology is an intensive study subject, I excelled at the complex ideas psychology aimed to teach. I have experience in tutoring psychology by running study groups in first and second year and being part of the psychology society at university.
Sociology
Sociology thinkers had interesting social theories that I enjoyed learning about. These theories inform the ways people think today. I have understanding of social thinkers such as Durkheim, Marx and Weber. I wrote extensive essays on their work.
