Mathematics
As a Final Year BSc (Eng) Civil student, I've had the opportunity of gaining a profound understanding of Mathematics. I look to simplify concepts and help students develop a wholesome understanding of maths through presenting topics clearly and thereafter practising a variety of problems.
Life Sciences (Biology)
My tutoring philosophy is result/goal-driven. Above that, much of this subject matter is of great interest to me. I have great confidence in tutoring this subject.
Accounting
I believe that I could impress the key fundamentals of this subject upon the student. This would provide him/her with an excellent foundation and understanding of the subject going forward as well as guarantee almost immediate success.
Physical Science
As a 3rd Year BSc - Engineering student, School Physics forms an elementary part of my understanding of this subject. I can thoroughly cover topics or fill-in gaps in understanding. My focus for school students is two-fold, improving understanding and being result-orientated.
Afrikaans
I tutor to provide an improvement in marks based on what the student would like to achieve in a given time period. The different parts of the Afrikaans syllabus in school contribute to the final mark. By tackling certain gaps in learning, maximum marks can be obtained and improvement guaranteed.
English
The goal is 100%. By systematically & thoroughly tackling each section that contributes to this 100%, I can assist a student in achieving their potential and acquiring a level of English, fit for life post-schooling.
Chemistry
I can supplement knowledge gained in school or teach topics/concepts from scratch. With the syllabus as a guide and extensive mastery of past exam papers, improvement of results is almost guaranteed.
