I am a young student who believes that, as cliché as it sounds, knowledge is power. And in the words of April Ludgate: "I like people, places and things."
I am passionate about the subjects I teach and like to share that passion with others. I work hard not only for my own goals but others' as well. The subjects I teach are part of my everyday life. I have a very holistic understanding of them can easily explain and teach it to others.

• I played first team hockey for my high school for three years and served as captain in my final year.
• I was awarded the Dux-student award in matric.

Afrikaans
I have always loved Afrikaans, it being my home language. I find that Afrikaans, however difficult, is a captivating language and can be appreciated if it is understood.
English
I have always loved the language and spend a lot of time reading English fiction and classics. I consistently performed throughout high school and ended my matric year with a mark above 90%.
Life Sciences (Biology)
The subject is my passion and I have always achieved a distinction. It is one of those area ls of learning that I like to engage with outside of formal learning.
Drama
I have practical experience in the subject and I also continuously achieved a distinction. I participated in my school's theatre production for four years and was awarded with the highest achievement in the subject in my matric year.
CAT
CAT is a skill I use daily in everyday life. I was also the highest achiever in my matric year and got a distinction for the subject in my final examination.
History
History is a fascinating subject that held a lot of value for me while studying it. I love sharing my fascination for the subject and would love to pass on the skills that earned me my distinction in matric.
Mathematics
Mathematics is a fundamental subject that plays an essential role in our daily lives. I am passionate about helping students build a strong foundation in mathematics, develop critical thinking skills, and achieve their academic goals.
