Bio
I'm a 21 year old UCT student, doing a BA degree with a passion for teaching. I have experience with students and regardless of their skill levels and I will strive to help them achieve their best.
I took a gap year in England working at a private school as a tutor, helping a wide range of students, with different ages and skill levels. Here I learned the patience and other skills needed to help students achieve good marks in many subjects. I have achieved highly and am very passionate about the subjects I tutor and this will be evident in my tutoring.

• 2014-2015 BA Humanities, University of Cape Town (currently 2nd year)

Achievements
• Completed high school with an A aggregate, and secretary of the Matric Committee.
• I was accepted to be a tutor through the prestigious Tutors Worldwide Gap year program and I survived a year of hard work and very budget travelling
• Passed my 1st year at UCT with a 70% average.
Subjects

English
Throughout school I achieved consistent high marks and I love reading. I have continued with English Literature at a university level and am doing well.
History
I have taken History as a choice subject from grade 10, consistently receiving excellent results. I have continued at university level, majoring in History.
Drama
I did Drama as a choice subject and received top results in both practical and theory. I have taken extra drama lessons and participated in numerous eisteddfods and plays.
Life Sciences (Biology)
I have experience with Biology since primary school and continued with it until Matric. Have a very good understanding of what is taught in lower grades.
Afrikaans
I can speak Afrikaans as a second language confidently and fluently, it is a subject I can help others to understand.
