Bio
I'm diligent, hardworking and motivated, but also kind, funny and lighthearted. I believe there is a time for work and a time for play and that there's no reason why the two can't be mixed.
I care about the people in my life and love to see them thrive. In high school, my friends would ask me to teach them maths and we would sit in the library and I would help them learn. Sometimes, all you need is to hear something explained again, or in a new way and it suddenly becomes clear. Seeing that smile of understanding is worth all the hardwork.

• 2012-2016: Westerford high school. Graduated with 6 distinctions.
• 2017-2019: B.Sc at UCT majoring in Genetics and Biochemistry. Dean's merit list every year.
• 2020: Medical Biochemistry Honours at UCT
My Proudest
Achievements
• In matric I achieved 90% for Afrikaans after receiving >60% in lower grades. I achieved this through persistence and lots of hard work.
• In my first year, I passed the hardest maths course at UCT. No calculators were allowed in any test or exam.

Mathematics
In school, I always loved maths and took Advanced Programme Mathematics (IEB) as an extra subject. In my first year at university, I passed a full year maths course. I love helping and teaching people to understand and in maths, understanding is key.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Biology was my favourite subject in school and I have pursued it further. In university, I took Cell Biology, Biological Diversity, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Genetics and Biochemistry.
- Performing Arts
Latin Dance
I have taken Ballroom & Latin Dancing lessons for 6 years have taught people to dance for weddings and matric balls. Dancing is a hobby that I have carried with me my entire life and teaching people to dance is one of my greatest joys.
