Hello! My name is Maddy and I am a freshman at the University at Buffalo studying to get my BFA in Dance and BA in Communications. I would describe myself as outgoing, creative, and passionate!
I started teaching three years ago as a dance instructor. I have taught many different styles to all levels of students. I have really learned how to best approach a student where they are to best meet their goals. Additionally, I really enjoy helping! Teaching and tutoring is really enjoyable for me and I look forward to working with students.
Education
• I graduated high school with my advanced regents diploma with mastery in math along with my Seal of Civic Readiness and Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish. I am a member of my University's Honors College.

1st Grade - 12th Grade HonorsI have taken history courses, along with AP level history through high school. I can help with both World and US history. I can help teach straight content, strategies for memorization, or specific test taking skills (like writing historical essays, DBQs, etc).

1st Grade - 10th Grade Public school (state standards)I have taken courses in algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus throughout high school. I received my regents diploma with mastery in math. I have a strong sense of the fundamentals so I can help students who are struggling along with younger students!

BeginnerI took honors, AP, and college level English courses throughout high school. I received a 4 on the AP Lit exam, along with grades of 95-99 in honors and dual enrollment courses. My course work has ranged from literature study, writing, vocabulary, and grammar.
