I was in teaching for a long time. The biggest satisfaction was when learners done well and they "burst" with excitement and proudness!

Achievements
• The one case was 2 very clever girls in one class and they competed with each other. At the end they both had deep in the 80% for Afrikaans FAL.
• When talking nicely and encouraging to an average learner, he started to believe in himself and also started to do well.

I taught respectively 5 years Afrikaans FAL (First Additional Language) for grade 5 and 11 years Afrikaans (FAL) for grade 6. I know the hiccups for a learner that is struggling with Afrikaans and is willing to help him/her! I retired last year and have enough time to help,
