Statistics

Currently, I am working for the University of Johannesburg as a tutor for Statistics 1. Within this position, I conduct weekly consultations with students, Live Blackboard Sessions where we go through tutorial problems and I also mark their assignments and tests and return feedback.

Applied Mathematics

Applied Mathematics is important because it teaches pupils to think analytically and look for solutions to problems. Tutoring at the University of Johannesburg helped me build the most important skills, such as presentation skills that help me to facilitate concepts easy.

Mathematics

I am fortunate enough to have completed Calculus 1 and Applied Mathematics 1 at university level. That broadens my skills when approaching concepts that I have covered back in high school as I have several ways to make them more meaningful and easy to apply.

English

I enjoy English, especially poetry and I achieved 78% for my final mark in Grade 12. Over the past few years, I have been assisting Grade 11 learners in my school, and I enjoyed that a lot. I look forward to assisting many more!

Life Orientation

I matriculated with a distinction for Life Orientation in 2019. I am confident in my ability to tutor this subject.

Geography

I obtained a distinction in Geography. I can teach absolutely every topic, including map work and theory. I know how to use interesting methods to make Geography more understandable and enjoyable.

Social Science

I love Social Science since it is a combination of two interesting fields - History and Geography. I used to assist my classmates back then in primary with the concepts they were struggling to master.

Physical Science

I can tutor Physical Science because I have experience in it and I obtained a distinction in the subject. I love Physical Science and I enjoy helping others.

Life Sciences (Biology)

I achieved a distinction in this subject at Matric level and I am confident in my ability to assist others in the understanding of the subject.

Natural Science

I did very well in Life Sciences and Physical Science in high school, thus I am confident in my ability to teach Natural Science well.
