Bio
Every student has unique strengths. My job is to help them uncover these and help them achieve the best marks they can while reinvigorating their curiosity and love for learning.
I believe my resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities make me an excellent tutor. As a psychology tutor, two students approached me and thanked me for my contributions, saying their A+ would have been impossible without my help. I have taught in a variety of situations, from private tutoring, and piano teaching, to being a craft teacher. All this adds to my ability to be an excellent tutor.

My Proudest
Achievements
• I achieved distinctions for both my undergraduate and honours degrees and could fund these through scholarships that recognise academic performance. I consider finishing my honours thesis and getting 80% a great achievement. I make a pretty good chocolate cake.

Afrikaans
I am fluent in both English and Afrikaans and achieved the highest grade in the country of examination for Afrikaans Grade 12.
- University Tutoring
Sociology
I achieved three academic merit bursaries for my performance at university and specialised in social sciences in my honours year. I help students think critically and can help them structure arguments and analyses for university essays.
Psychology
I was consistently the top-performing psychology student in a faculty of 1,500 students and was rewarded for gaining the highest grade in my class for PSYC111. I tutored first-year psychology students for a year and underwent training on how to do this.
- Music Tutoring
Piano (Classical)
I have 10+ years of experience learning and playing music. I've helped four students thus far grasp the beginnings of piano and music theory, and have been a part of multiple music collectives. I get along well with young children as I am quite young myself, and bring joy and fun into my lessons.

Afrikaans
I believe language is best learned through reading and practice, so my approach to helping a student excel at their work is to work through practical examples and to encourage them to read as much as possible. As a fluent Afrikaans speaker, I can also ensure proper pronunciation.
