I am a hard-working, motivated student and love meeting new people. I spend my free time hiking, jogging and taking photos of everyone and everything around me.
I love leading other people and making them believe in their capabilities. Teamwork has always been one of my favourite things because I am able to listen, understand and relate to other people’s stories.

Mathematics
I am passionate about mathematics. I want to help students to overcome their fear of mathematics and making mistakes. Together we can tackle difficult problems since I have had 4 Engineering Mathematics subjects in the past and I know how daunting it can be at the start of a new academic year.
Physical Science
Physical Science was my favourite subject since grade 8. I am confident in the skills I gained to understand and answer questions in this subject. I enjoy Physics and Chemistry and would prefer to tutor Physics. I can help you answer your exam paper questions both efficiently and effective.
Afrikaans
Afrikaans is my home language and I am very confident in the language. I enjoyed the language, summary and comprehension question paper the most, and wasn’t too bad at literature as well.
Life Sciences (Biology)
This was my only theory subject and I really loved studying it. I am not studying anything that relates to this subject but enjoys the work and wouldn’t mind restudying it.
English
English First Additional Language was an easy module as it did not test the kind of knowledge you needed to have for English Home Language. I am confident with my language and literature skills.
Accounting
I also struggled with accounting when I started the subject but changed the way I prepared for tests. I would love to help people that don’t understand this module.
Chemistry
I am confident in my abilities to tutor chemistry as I always loved studying for it and put in extra effort to grasp and understand the more difficult questions. I have never gotten a mark lower than 90% for any Chemistry paper and would love to share my knowledge with the students I tutor.
Natural Science
As Science is part of almost all my Engineering Subjects it became second nature to “think science”. I am confident that I can tutor this subject to both students struggling to pass and those who want to be top achievers. Choose me, and we can struggle together!
Electro Techniques
This subject was a follow-up from the first year Electro techniques. I am confident in both these subjects as they follow a certain pattern. If you know the pattern, you will easily pass this module and I would like to transfer my knowledge to fellow students.
Engineering Maths
This was my least favourite subject in my first year. I struggled a lot and thought that I would never get the hang of it. I put in A LOT of time and effort and it became one of my favourite subjects. Hard work pays off and I want to help students to work hard to get the results they deserve.
Philosophy
This module is theory-based and notes need to be read an excessive amount of times before this knowledge sinks in. The different ethical viewpoints are important and I enjoyed learning the different ways one can think in a profession.
Product Management
A combination of theory and calculations makes this module rather interesting. You need to find the balance between studying enough theory and being confident in your skills to do the calculations. I found a perfect balance and made great notes to share with the students I would tutor.
Research
Solving problems is one of the key aims of Engineering. I am confident in my skills to solve this module's problems efficiently. I think this is one of the most important skills any engineer should have and want to share my knowledge with students.
