Bio
Figurative art is what my life will mostly consist of luckily. With the hopes of becoming both a practising artist and lecturer, I feel a tutoring job now is perfectly suited.
In terms of teaching visual arts, I out of interest keep up with the contemporary art world. Technically, I am very strong at rendering naturalistic works of any subject. I have had the luck of having great teachers that have taught me how to see and render the subject by pencil or paint, a skill I feel I could easily pass on. I am also able to offer other useful exercises Undergrad has taught me.

I am currently busy with my Masters in Visual Arts at Stellenbosch University. The focus of the year is looking critically into oil painting practice of portraiture. For Honours, I achieved distinctions in both practical modules.

I am well read, reading both for joy and to understand the classics that get referenced often in other media such as film and art. I am also revising my own writing skills in order to improve the quality of my Master's thesis this year. For these reasons, I am well suited to tutor.
