Bio
My name is Scarlett Jago, and I am a senior Environmental Science and English major at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. I am currently on the women's varsity volleyball team at Trinity.
I am great at helping others because I have experience in high school with tutoring kids of various ages and skill sets. Whether your child is in middle school and needs help with reading comprehension and basic math problem-solving, or needs more advanced help with AP classes and essay writing in high school, I can happily provide kids with the skills they need to succeed.
Education
• I have been studying environmental science, biology, chemistry, statistics, and English throughout my time at University and while studying abroad in Panama. In high school, I took seven AP classes.
My proudest achievements
• In my past three years of college, I was selected to be part of the NESCAC fall all-academic team. I am a part of Chi Alpha Sigma, which is a national honor society specifically for college athletics. Lastly, one of my short stories was published in my college's literary magazine!

World History
1st Grade - 12th Grade Public school (state standards)In high school, I received a five on my AP World History exam, and had a wonderful teacher who taught me all the skills required to ace this class, such as learning how to do DBQs and LEQs. I continuously use her expertise in my college classes to date.
Biology
1st Grade - 10th Grade Public school (state standards)I took honors biology in high school, and I also took a college biology course. I can be helpful with memorizing facts and learning the intricate cycles involved at the micro- and macro-levels.
Algebra
1st Grade - 12th Grade Public school (state standards)I can be very helpful with simple algebraic equations and learning the basic functions of solving mathematical problems.
Language Arts (English)
1st Grade - 12th Grade Public school (state standards)I am currently an English major at my University, and I took AP Literature and AP Language and Composition. If you need help writing essays, analyzing passages, or with grammar problems, I have a lot of experience under my belt.
