• As a hobby, I have achieved excellent results in Sugar Craft and presented workshops on the art of cake icing in South Africa and Namibia.

Subjects
- School Tutoring
English
I have taught from Grade 4-7 English in IEB schools for more than 20 years. I also completed a TEFL course and have many years experience in teaching online and in the classroom. I have taught Thinking Skills in English to help critical thinking . Vocabulary and comprehension is important too!
Mathematics
I have taught Mathematics in the Intermediate phase - Grades 4-6. I have also taught Grade 7 Mathematics online for a year. I have experience in helping and understanding that children find it difficult to absorb the methods of mathematics, especially if they are not mathematically minded.
Afrikaans
I have taught Afrikaans up to Grade 7 - teaching the STOMPI methods of using grammar which helps with language structure. To write a creative piece is difficult for non Afrikaans speakers and I have given step-by-step ways in which to help with this.
Social Science
History and Geography of South Africa - taught how important it is to know our surroundings, understand how certain things work - example; ocean currents and to understand where we as South African's come from in our History.
