I am known to have a quiet, gentle presence overlying a steely determination, as put into words by my matric maths teacher. I am kind and easy-going, but don't run low on perseverance or work ethic.
I have had to work exceptionally hard to get into medicine, and had to accept help along the way- I know what it takes to ask for help and what you expect from it. I am very compassionate and empathic, and take great joy in seeing others succeed and be proud of themselves. I don't give up on people.

Mathematics
I loved Maths at school, it was one of my favourite topics, and went on to thrive in Maths at UCT. It is something I enjoy doing and do well at.
Accounting
I come from a family of Accountants so Accounting has always been a subject that I have known and one that I enjoy doing and teaching.
English
English was my favourite subject at school, and having been an avid reader from a young age, the language is something that comes naturally to me, despite its tricks and nuances.
Design
Design was my Plan B career path, second to Medicine. So it is something that I have explored, learned thoroughly and have become very familiar with.
