I ventured into the world of education after being retrenched. I started off as an aupair helping out with homework. I enjoyed watching children succeed, so moved on to helping children at an aftercare with homework. I then decided to focus on tutoring one-on-one. I now run a Literacy Centre!

Afrikaans

I value communication and believe that learning a language shouldn't just be for academic purposes but for connecting and relating to others on a deeper level. In helping students, I'm keen on imparting this skill to their benefit as well.

With technology advancing at an incredible pace, the need to understand and master its techniques has become ever so essential. I specialise in empowering and enabling students to acquire the basic skills required to develop that understanding.

Tourism

It may seem like a far-fetched concept in our current reality, however, the desire to explore and learn about the world around us is part of who we are. And, I enjoy encouraging that travel bug to grow.

I also enjoy helping with maths at a Primary School level. I love numbers and have a couple of tricks to help young students master basic maths.

The importance of upskilling and developing future entrepreneurs, has in recents years, become a necessary and integral part of education. After much ‘adulting’, I can confirm that it’s never too early to expose a child to the world of financial responsibility or understanding.
