I believe that it is important to find a balance in all aspects of life, and seek to find effective ways to solve matters. I am dedicated and hardworking but also enjoy time out in nature.
I have a passion for teaching and believe that everyone has potential waiting to unfold. With the increasing amount of pressure on students, I believe that the balance between work and play is essential, allowing for more focused learning. I am patient and have experience in tutoring learners from all ages.
• Since high school I have been part of the peer tutoring program, and have also tutored at TeachMe2 for many years. I am currently studying at University of Pretoria towards a post-graduate diploma .
• My proudest moment would be achieving exceptional Year 12 results, enabling me to successfully gain entry into the university degree of my choice while juggling numerous extramurals and prefect duties.
Mathematics comes with practice and exposure to many types of questions. I have a wide variety of resources. I tutored Mathematics in high school peer tutoring and the marks of my tutees significantly improved.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Life Science is an interesting subject but it can be tedious to learn due to unfamiliar terminology. I have fun ways to study Life Sciences by making rhythms or just silly sentences.
In the beginning of Grade 10, I struggled with Physical Science but through asking questions, practicing and hard work I managed to achieve great results - a distinction. I have a good idea as to what learners struggle with.
I am patient and am well rounded in all school subjects. I had Maths, English, Afrikaans, Life Orientation, Life Science, Physical Science and German as school subjects to Year 12.
