Bio

I am a qualified, experienced language teacher with a passion for teaching children. I have been teaching adults as well as children aged 5 - 18 languages for 16 years. I believe in interactivity!

I am a patient teacher who understands children, because I am a mother of two and have been teaching kids since 1993. I enjoy having fun with students while they are learning. I love languages, therefore it is only a pleasure for me to help them understand concepts and apply them. I would love to help as many students as possible become more fluent in English, German and Afrikaans!

I have been teaching Afrikaans Huistaal, Afrikaans FAL, German SAL, German Home Language, English FAL and Conversational English since 1993.

My proudest achievements

The bringing up of my children, who are now 21 and 23.
Passing my BA Languages and BA Honors Degrees with distinction.
Having been able to help so many children improve their fluency in different languages over the years (and of course, also having had the opportunity to be a role model to them).
