I am excited to offer targeted support to help boost your confidence and performance. My lessons are not only effective but also engaging and enjoyable. With a strong understanding of mark allocation, I incorporate a variety of teaching methods tailored to different learning styles.

EMS is one of my favorite subjects to teach, as it encompasses a variety of areas that I have developed a deep understanding of over the years. My BCom degree provides me with a strong foundation in Accounting and Economics, which enhances my ability to deliver comprehensive lessons.

I am knowledgeable regarding different teaching methodologies and the CAPS curriculum and have obtained invaluable experience while teaching Mathematical Literacy for a decade. In addition I completed a year-long course on teaching Mathematics to Gr4-9 learners and love teaching Maths.

With over 10 years of teaching Gr.8 / 9 English, I have the knowledge and skills to aid learners in their pursuit of success and nurture a love for languages.

Being fully bilingual and achieving A's for Afrikaans and English in matric is a bonus since I have an excellent command of both languages. In previous years I have also taught Afrikaans First Language to Gr. 7 and 8 learners.

My experience as an English First Additional Language teacher, along with being a qualified IELTS preparation tutor and having obtained a TESOL certificate, has equipped me with a magnitude of valuable knowledge to assist ESOL students.

Having first-hand experience sitting the IELTS exam, and knowing the amount of stress that candidates experience, I decided to become a certified IELTS tutor. I am well-versed in all 4 sections, and excited to share my expertise with students and help them reach their goals.
