I am 18 years old. I grew up in the village Nongoma. I am a student at the University of Pretoria, doing a BSc in human physiology. In everything that I do, I give it my all.
I started tutoring at a very young age, I was in grade 10. I find joy in tutoring others where they are struggling. I am passionate about what I do, I believe with the experience that I have students can learn more from it. In everything that I do, I give it my all. I believe tutoring is not only about helping people understand their work but it is about helping to build their future with them.
Education
- I am doing BSc in human physiology at university of Pretoria and it is my first year. I completed my matric last year (2020).
My proudest achievements
- I received a merit certificate in grade 11 for being a top learner in my grade for the whole year and also in grades 8 and 9. I was in the top 3 of the school in matric. I received a prize for debating in regional and provincial debates in grade 10.
Subjects
School Tutoring
Business Studies
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI did business studies in matric, it was a very fun experience for me because it required tough love towards my books. I would tutor the whole matric in extra classes and teachers would highly recommend me when it came to tutoring students. I love helping people to better understand business.
Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 10 NSCI did Mathematics in matric and I am doing it now in varsity. I have had a better understanding of math ever since I started doing it in varsity. I am now helping a student in grade 10 with math and I started tutoring when I was in grade 10. I have learned so far that Math is easy if we allow it.
English
Grade 1 - Grade 11 NSCI did English as my second language in matric. It wasn't an easy experience because English requires one's time to read books. I have learned that English is not about vocabulary but about understanding words and being able to respond.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI did life sciences in matric. It was a very fun experience because I was able to tutor other students. I am in varsity and I am doing biology in a broader aspect now. It is very fun and deep, I believe grade 12's can earn more from my experience.
