Bio

I taught at St Mary's, in Zimbabwe, and in England. I homeschooled my kids the Cambridge syllabus, two of whom are currently pursuing an MSc. in Animal Science and a BSc. in Mech Engineering.

I am positive and hope I build self esteem in the people I teach. I challenge my pupils so that they can think and formulate opinions that reflect their own beliefs. I am passionate about teaching and I believe that education should be made available in a form that the child as an individual can grasp and understand.

Education

I have a Diploma in Education. I was a tennis coach but my licence has lapsed. I was the first and second team girl's tennis and hockey coach.

My proudest achievements

Taking part in a three-phase horse riding event (dressage, show jumping and cross country).
Being asked to teach Physical Science at Alma Mater and having the children pass really well considering we only had 3 months to bring their work up to an acceptable level.

I teach Physical Science remedially with a strong emphasis on understanding through practice. By linking Physics principles to hands-on demonstrations and real-world examples, I help learners grasp abstract ideas more easily.

Mathematics

Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEB, NSC

As a qualified educator, I am deeply passionate about Mathematics and making it accessible to every learner. I focus on showing how mathematical concepts apply to real-life situations, helping students see its relevance and value.

Natural Science

Grade 1 - Grade 8 NSC, CAPS, IEB

I teach Physical Science remedially. I try to make the subject practical and stimulating by doing as much physical proving as possible. I am confident teaching Natural science at this level
