I am a diligent individual who believes that hard work is what gets you to where you want to be. I am patient, kind, and I understand that sometimes a new perspective can help you understand a topic.
I enjoy working with people, and I feel that I bring a new perspective that may help learners get past barriers as I tend to see things in a unique way. I am very patient and get gratification from watching others succeed.

Life Sciences (Biology)
I enjoyed Biology at school and have since completed with distinctions a BSc in Entomology and Botany and an honours degree in Entomology. I am passionate about getting young people to succeed in Life Sciences.
Geography
I did Geography at school and really enjoyed it. I also did Earth Science in my first year at Rhodes University which helped me gain a broader understanding.
Homework
I did work experience at a primary school so have good experience working with children. I am also very patient and good at helping a child work at their own pace
Natural Science
I am currently doing a Bachelor of Science degree and some of my modules include Botany, Chemistry and Zoology. I am confident in my ability to assist students to excel in this subject.
Botany
I completed my BSc with distinctions majoring in Botany and Entomology and am therefore passionate about these subjects. I was also a botany demonstrator for two years so have good experience teaching this subject.
Zoology
I completed my BSc and honours degree with distinctions majoring in Botany and Entomology and am therefore passionate about these subjects. I was a zoology and cell biology demonstrator at Rhodes so I have good experience teaching these subjects.
Swimming
I have been swimming competitively since the age of 8. I represented Kenya in an international swimming event in Durban. I represented Nairobi at the Kenyan nationals gala. I also got my swimming colours in grade 11 at Woodridge College.
