Bio
I am very funny, my humour is top tier, and for that, I am generally seen as very approachable. I am very perceptive, I get along with most people because of my uncanny ability to read the room.
One of the reasons why a lot of people struggle with asking for help is because they are afraid of being made to feel like they are stupid, I am good at using affirming language and boosting the self-esteem of others, so they will feel more inclined to ask for help. I also use humour to build camaraderie and to break the ice. Lastly; I encourage students to always try, even if they are unsure

I am currently a 3rd year BSc student at Nelson Mandela University; majoring in Chemistry and Biochemistry. I currently freelance for a company called OneClass as a Chemistry Junior Tutor. My tutoring style consists of using everyday analogies to explain scientific concepts to students.

This subject was quite challenging for me initially and it took time for me to figure it out. I would be an excellent tutor for this subject because I have also struggled with it and thus know firsthand how to approach certain concepts that may initially be challenging for the student.
Chemistry
This is my absolute favorite subject and is also one of my majors; I have been a junior Chemistry tutor at OneClass since October 2020, so I have experience tutoring this subject at university level. Of the three chemistry modules, I did at third-year level, I obtained two distinctions.
