Geography

I hold a B.Sc. Geography degree and would love to assist learners with a passion for this subject.

Afrikaans

Afrikaans is my home language. I achieved 84% for it at a Year 12 level and would love to help others do the same.

English

I obtained a distinction, 87%, for English First Additional Language on my National Senior Certificate. I have received a Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate with distinction from Wits Language School.

Physical Science

I have experience in science education, I worked at Sci- Enza Science Centre at the University of Pretoria. I studied B.Sc. Geography at the University of Pretoria. I had Chemistry and Physics up to first year level.

Mathematics

I have experience in developing Mathematics workshops. I had Mathematics related Modules up to First Year while completing B.Sc. Geography. I want to assist in the understanding of Mathematics through my experience and skills.

Natural Science

I have obtained a B.Sc. degree under the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences from the University of Pretoria, thus I've had Natural Science's Modules. I have experience in explaining and educating the principles of Natural Sciences.

Social Science

I am a B.Sc. Geography graduate from the University of Pretoria. I've had multiple Social Science Modules up to my final year. I would be able to assist any learner with Social Science as I have a passion for it and the necessary experience to do so.

TEFL

I have a TEFL via Blended Learning certificate from The University of the Witwatersrand's Language School. I obtained the certificate with distinction. I am passionate about teaching. My goal is to help my students learn to communicate effectively in English.

English

My final mark was 87% for English at the end of High School. I have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate from Wits Language School, for which I received an A (75%+). I would very much like to assist non-English speakers with mastering English.

Public Speaking

In high school I received semi-honorary colours for public speaking. I have experience in doing presentations to working professionals during my university career. Most recently I have done public speaking during my work at Sci-Enza Science Centre.
