Math was a top subject for me—I achieved a distinction in Advanced Programme Maths (IEB). I love helping students gain confidence through clear explanations and logical problem-solving.

Raised in a bilingual English-Afrikaans home, I have native fluency and a deep understanding of Afrikaans. This allows me to teach the language confidently and help students master both grammar and everyday conversation.

Life Sciences sparked my curiosity in school and inspired my career in biology. With deep subject knowledge and real-world insight, I help students understand and love the subject too.

My strong chemistry background and ongoing practical use in my studies make me a confident tutor. I was offered a university tutoring role, reflecting my skills and passion, though I couldn’t accept it at the time.

This was my second year module which I did the best in and also enjoyed the most. This course also gave me an opportunity to be able to work in a professional lab for experience.

Biochemistry was my main major in university. Molecular biology has always been one of my passions. This module allowed me deeper knowledge of molecular biology and was enjoyable for me, both theoretically and practically.

With a solid foundation in chemistry and hands-on experience in practical applications, I bring both knowledge and passion to my tutoring. I was even selected to tutor chemistry at university but had to decline due to prior commitments.
