I am passionate about teaching and can not imagine my life without making a difference in children's lives. I have 39 years of teaching experience and therefore have a lot of knowledge to share.
I have lots of patience and will really try to make children understand what they learn and why they learn it. It is the satisfaction of seeing children progress and develop that is so rewarding. Children normally trust me and believe in me. This trust they have in me makes them work hard and try their best.

Achievements
• Some of the children I tutored hated Maths and after a while they admitted that Maths was their favourite subject, because they gained confidence and then their marks improved.

• Little children who could not speak a word of English, started understanding and speaking English after only six months.

Beginner - IntermediateI am Afrikaans speaking, I can read and write it. I have taught Afrikaans at a number of primary schools in South Africa. I am perfectly fluent in Afrikaans and will also be able to teach Afrikaans as a second language.

Beginner - IntermediateI have been an English teacher in Qatar for 12 years. I also did private tutoring in Qatar for 12 years and taught children up to Grade 7.

Grade 1 - Grade 12Geography was one of my subjects at university so I’m fully competent tutoring it to grade 12. I love Geography because it makes me understand the world around me.
