Bio

I am a vibrant tutor who believes that tutoring is about learning in a fun and healthy way, encouraging students to think critically and creating an environment that is safe for learning and growing.

I have 2 years of tutoring experience as a full-time tutor at Rhodes University & 8 years in private lessons. I have once had a student tell me that they really looked forward to coming to my class because they always left with a sense of clarity, calmness and exhaustion from all the laughs! What makes me a successful tutor is my ability to adapt my teaching style to the learner's needs.

My proudest achievements

In 2020, I was tutoring a group of 15 first-year students. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I feared many would fail due to various circumstances. After brainstorming and rethinking how to structure my tutorials, at the end of 2020 my tutor group was the only one to have 100% pass rate.
