Bio
I have an inquisitive personality that enjoys figuring out solutions to problems. I am currently pursuing postgraduate research in chemical biology, with the goal of discovering new cancer therapies.
I was not a fast learner through my high school and undergraduate years and required more time to assimilate the information I got in the classroom. As a result, I discovered new ways of understanding information. This, I believe, has made me a patient person who is not in a rush to complete a task, but rather is focused on assisting the student in becoming a self-assured learner.

Subjects
Biochemistry
First Year - Fourth Year MCB3025F/ MCB2024SDuring my undergraduate years, I enjoyed tutoring biology related subjects as its a subject I naturally enjoy studying. I like to take my time in explaining concepts whilst also understanding each person has a unique way of learning new information.
Biology
First Year - Second Year BIO1000FI enjoyed all of my biology classes at university and am always eager to learn more about this subject. In my third year, I tutored Biology-related modules, and I'm looking forward to helping more students understand concepts and the content of BIO1000F this year.
Microbiology
First Year - Third YearAs a former undergraduate molecular biology student, I am well-versed in the field of microbiology. I am confident in my ability to explain this subject's material in simple terms. I also understand how critical it is to make the student feel at ease, as this aids their readiness to learn.
Reviews from others
I was struggling to understand some experiment results from my Genetics module to complete my lab report. Grace was absolutely great in explaining the concepts, thus helping me understand where I was going wrong. I felt guided and was even given suggestions on how to make sure I excel on my assignment. We went through restriction endonuclease, plasmid vectors and PCR. My expectations were met.
