Hi! I'm Alexa, a recent graduate from Oberlin College with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Law & Society. When I tutor, I prioritize clarity, structure, and inspiring awe!
While in college, I developed a passion for making knowledge accessible to everyone, which shows through my experiences. I've taught as a full time assistant teacher in Math, English, and History classes for a few months as part of the federal program Americorps (gap year). At Oberlin, I also trained as a peer counselor and volunteered at an after school program for local middle-schoolers.

Achievements
• I'm proud of the meaningful connections I made when teaching elementary school children during Americorps; seeing a student transform from a state of discomfort to one of wonder as they have newfound access to something they previously felt excluded from is incredibly fulfilling!
