Anyone can be successful in academia with the right teachers, and I can be that for you! As an Applied Psychology student at NYU, I know how to work hard and help you work smart!
I have spent many class hours helping other students understand the content we were learning. I also have experience working with students who have learning disabilities, so patience and understanding are not an issue for me at all. I love learning new things, so helping others understand things brings me great joy.

Achievements
• In my junior year of high school, I organized a movie night centered around the discussion of mental health in urban communities. The conversation led by professionals for parents and students was great! That was a very proud moment, as well as being concertmaster in orchestra performances.

Reading
1st Grade - 12th GradeThe analysis of texts is one of my great pleasures. I have experience reading many genres of texts including 19th-century works, classics, poetry, short stories, non-fiction work, and more. Reading for specific purposes like the theme, character development, and more are well within my wheelhouse.
Algebra
1st Grade - 11th GradeAlgebra can be quite a difficult subject, but I had teachers that made it easy to understand, and I will pass those ways of thinking onto you! I can explain concepts in ways that make them much easier to understand, so slope, exponents, variables, and all will quickly become strong skills for you!
