I am a person filled with enthusiasm and positivity. My view on the world is that every challenge could be broken down into overcomable smaller steps that could eventually become achievable.
I tend to endeavor into the fields that I have interests in, and teaching is no exception. After numerous experiences in teaching, such as private tutoring and tutoring through university recruitments, I found myself not only enjoying the act of teaching, but also watching the growth that one makes with assistance. Additionally, I am punctual and am capable of assisting with routinely learning.

Chemistry
When I started studying Chemistry, I started with a lower mark, D. However, within a year, I achieved A* as the final mark. I strongly believe that Chemistry is not a difficult subject when it comes to the right method of learning and practicing.
Life Sciences (Biology)
As a current medical student, biology is something I am continuously exposed to. Biology doesn’t have to be all about memorisation, given that there are good explanations and understanding. I have teaching experiences in school and university.
Physical Science
While in school, I always received stable marks in physics, of the 80s and 90s. I enjoyed studying physics because of its problem-solving nature, and Physics definitely becomes so much easier and enjoyable as one develops an interest in this field.
Chemistry
I was recruited by Stellenbosch University university as a chemistry tutor. Since I was taught in two different curriculums (NSC & Cambridge) I have better knowledge in the field and also know how to make a practical adjustment from high school to university learning
NBT - National Benchmark Test
NBT can be frustrating. Mainly, and especially as one didn’t have previous exposure to the types of questions asked. Based on my numerous exposure in maths, I could ace NBT fairly easily and am willing to provide tips and tricks.
“Sang is very patient with me if I don't understand something and will offer multiple ways to learn or solve it. I appreciate that Sang cares what I achieve and encourages me to do my best, which I value a lot.”
