Bio
I am driven and committed, always striving to achieve what I set my mind to. I believe every challenge can be overcome with determination and hard work.
I’m a patient, attentive listener who takes time to understand each learner’s needs. I’m well-organised and manage my time effectively to ensure every lesson is productive. I also focus on exam-centred strategies to help students improve results, while strengthening weak conceptual areas for long-term success.
Education
• 2023 - 2025 - B. Sc Biochemistry and Chemistry (University of Cape Town)
My Proudest
Achievements
• My proudest achievements include placing 3rd in my school with 5 distinctions in Matric, serving as Treasurer of my residence, and successfully balancing a job while studying in my second year—showing my discipline, leadership, and strong work ethic.
Subjects
Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI enjoy helping students understand challenging maths concepts like calculus by breaking them down clearly and step-by-step. I still use mathematics in my Chemistry and Engineering Physics courses, and my experience as a class rep has strengthened my ability to guide and support others.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCAs a Biochemistry and Chemistry major, I regularly work with complex biological concepts in exams and practical write-ups. With access to a learner’s content, I can break topics down clearly and help them understand their work with confidence.
Physical Science IEB
Grade 1 - Grade 12 IEBI excel in Classical Mechanics and Newton’s Laws, and I enjoy helping students master these topics with confidence. Although Electricity is less of a strength, I handle high school level well. After completing two Engineering Physics courses this year, the concepts remain fresh and clear.
