Despite studying Medicine, I was not always the brightest child in the room. However, I enrolled in Master Maths & Master Science classes to improve my marks and they did indeed! Being the one who was tutored, I understand that tutoring is about not about reteaching students like they did in class but to help them understand the work in ways that make sense to them while retaining all the facts.

I noticed that my thinking skills and attitude towards complex stuff and concepts I didn't understand before has changed in a positive way.
