As a multi-faceted Science graduate, within the fields of Anatomy, Medical Biochemistry and Biomedical Forensic Science, I have tutored/mentored both learners and university students toward distinctions. I hold global science experience, representing RSA in the International Biology Olympiad (2014).

I am a critical thinker and have a solution-oriented mindset. I taught Math to at-risk FET learners which allowed them to grasp the complexities of Math and pass at the end of the year.

I have undertaken and facilitated life skills, trauma & well-being and socio-emotional courses of the past year which feed into the Life Orientation syllabus.

With a love for sciences and solving complex problems, I am able to simplify these concepts and provide students with creative ways to remember them.

I have taught English to Thai and Syrian students and achieved the English award for having attained the highest distinction in my class. I have published two articles, and I have experience in editing and proofreading literature.

My approach to tutoring is tailored to the individual needs and strengths of each student, and I strive to create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters growth and confidence. I also received 86% in my final exam for Afrikaans!

Having graduated Summa Cum Laude and placed first in my class for Medical Science (Anatomy), whilst serving as an academic mentor (at UKZN for 2-years); I can aptly simplify complex anatomical jargon and processes correlating with different students' learning styles.

Having obtained a distinction in my physiology elective modules during my undergraduate year, I have experience in simplifying complex processes and terminology - allowing students to gain a better understanding of academic content. I have tutored within this field for two years.
