Bio
My mission is re-igniting the inborn spark of curiosity so often snuffed by growing up. I strive to ignite that spark by modelling my own passion for life long learning in those I teach.
I don't take myself too seriously. I understand that compassion is the foundation of any relationship. Compassion means that I have to meet each individual where they are at any given moment. I know that life is often hard, but I believe that it is good. I laugh often. I know that one has to touch a heart before one can reach an intellect.

Subjects
Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 9 NSCI have more than two decades experience teaching children ages 12-15. I especially enjoy working with learners who need patience and encouragement to discover that they CAN do Math. My focus on building confidence and having fun.
English
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI was not born a native speaker, but I became one through my love of the English language in all its facets. Literature is my passion, but the beauty of grammar captivates my analytical side. I enjoy having fun with words. Puns, satire and irony make our lives rich and colourful.
History
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCIt is my belief that everybody can enjoy History - it is after all the ultimate series, because we are all players on the stage, from the unfortunate Gavrillo Princip, who unwittingly started WWI to the great leaders.
Conversational English
Beginner - AdvancedI co-host a YouTube show, and have done many hours of interviews with guests from all over the world. I enjoy having conversations about anything under the sun - from mundane to philosophy. I love people, and I love the exploratory journey of learning from others as much as I teach.
English
Beginner - IntermediateI have been called a walking dictionary by friends and family. Language is a primary skill, and helping others to wield it with confidence is my passion.
