I am a candidate attorney who is passionate about education, both learning and teaching. I believe that education is a powerful tool that should be shared with others.
One can find me as a diplomatic and compassionate person. In high school, I was the deputy chairperson, which meant that most planning and execution was my responsibility. Furthermore, in University, I was a peer mentor, meaning I was responsible for first year students well being and ensuring that their adjustment period went smoothly. I was essentially their confidant, guardian and an adviser.
• 2014-2018 I studied my LL.B at the University of the Free State
• I have been on the University's deans merit list for 3 consecutive years, I have received recognition for being the top achieving student for criminal law and I have been in various leadership positions (Deputy Head Girl, Peer Mentor and Residence Committee member for Financial management).
English
English is an important language as it is universal. Being in the legal profession has compelled me to grasp the importance of how we express ourselves using this universal language.
Life Sciences (Biology)
I have found myself to be intrigued by the workings of most biological things in our world. What intrigued me about this subject was how it allows one to delve into the smaller details that make up humans, plants and animals.
Criminal Law
I particularly enjoyed criminal law in University. I found it to be a very interesting module, considering the different elements that are involved in order to constitute an act, as a crime.
