Get a Chemical Engineering tutorI am a currently employed chemical engineer and Golden Key Member working for Sasol with 2 years of active experience. I received my degree after 4 years of study at the University of Pretoria with 4 Golden Key invitations. I passed Chemical Engineering 113 and 310 (CIR) with a distinction.
I am highly experienced in mass transfer and reactor design. I completed my Ph.D. which focused primarily on these two concepts, whereby I developed a novel biological reactor to treat industrial wastes.
I obtained distinctions for both first-year Chemical Engineering modules. I also obtained a distinction for CIR211, I believe that the 2 first-year Chem Eng modules are some of the hardest in the course and my extra experience allows me to explain topics at a higher level.
I have always felt intrigued by Chemical Engineering and achieved a distinction for the subject, at the tertiary level, which gives me a deeper understanding of the content.
I have been teaching mathematics-related subjects in Chemical Engineering for the past 9 years. As the laws of physics say: what you put in is what you shall get back! It's never too late to get flying colors for engineering.
I am passionate about Chemical Engineering and pursued this at a tertiary level. Helping others gain insight and confidence in this subject motivates me to tutor it. I would love to share all I have learned and work with students so that they can also achieve their goals.
I found that I have the ability to help others to approach the work in a way that best makes sense to them and in doing so help them to motivate themselves and achieve the greatest standard of work possible. I also specialise in project perfection.
I am a Chemical Engineering graduate who currently holds the position of Senior Engineering Studies Lecturer.
I am amazing at mathematics and continually practice questions, allowing me to know many methods for understanding concepts and also how to relate to people to use their way of thinking to reach the necessary conclusions for answering questions.
As a 3rd-year chemical engineering student, I have acquired the relevant skills to tutor entry-level students and assist them with mass and energy balancing, operational flow diagrams, and a wide variety of chemical engineering applications.
