My love for maths is the reason I chose my current degree. I enjoy not only working with numbers but also understanding the reasons behind how they work.

Throughout high school, Accounting was one of my best subjects and I enjoyed working with the material, thus I believe that with the right coaching, anyone can achieve an A in Accounting.

As an Actuarial Science student, we were required to take maths courses as requirements, and I have enjoyed the interaction with both the first and second year level mathematics, thus I got a first in both years.

Although Accounting was not my major, I did enjoy learning it thus I excelled in it. This course made me realise that Accounting was more than just punching in some numbers into a calculator but also understanding why and which numbers to use.

This course was similar to an Actuarial course I did in first year. I feel like I have a lot of experience with the material taught in it, but what I enjoyed most about it was that it gave me an insight into how the corporate world actually works.

I have been doing Stats from my first year, and currently still doing Stats this year. There were challenging moments, but the more advanced stats that I did, the more I got to understand and appreciate the material taught in my earlier stats course.
