I also use songs for learners who enjoy music; I turn study notes into lyrics and create a sweet academic song based on the content. Those songs helped most of my learners to recall information faster especially during tests and exams.

Beginner NSC (Home Language)I am a great Xitsonga tutor because Tsonga is my home language. I am also a Tsonga poet and know all the Tsonga words including figurative language. I am patient with everyone, especially beginners as they need most of my attention so they can learn fast.
She explains the words and gives examples for me to understand and we now greet each other and exchange pleasantries in Xitsonga at the beginning of every class and that has helped me work on speaking Xitsonga more,even though I still make mistakes. She encourages me to try out new sentences with the words she has taught me thus far and that has been helpful. I find that her energy levels help me stay hyped up for the classes. She is an excellent tutor.
