Bio
Hello and welcome! Teaching is one of my biggest passions and I am excited to help fellow students become academic weapons and masters at studying. I'll show you how fun learning can really be!
I am flexible when it comes to adapting to each student's individual learning needs. I'll tailor lessons to target weak spots and finish each session with a clear understanding and renewed confidence.
Education
- I'm a Psychology and Biology student pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree and am on the pre-med track. I have previous tutoring experience with various age groups and across multiple subjects.
My proudest achievements
- I'm maintaining a strong academic standing while pursuing a double science major. I'm developing effective study habits through which I was able to improve my exam scores in some of my most challenging classes, like organic chemistry. I've been told I motivate others to study!
Subjects
School Tutoring
Chemistry
1st Grade - 12th Grade Public school (state standards)As a college student who has taken AP Chemistry in high school and completed college-level coursework as a part of my major, I have developed ways of breaking down challenging concepts into manageable steps, which helps with both memorization and development of deeper conceptual understanding.
Algebra
1st Grade - 12th Grade Public school (state standards)I've always found algebra to be fun and I can show students how fun it can be once they get the hang of it through practice. I encourage students to approach problems with curiosity, recognize patterns, and see mistakes as opportunities to learn and improve.
Biology
1st Grade - 12th Grade Public school (state standards)As a Biology and Psychology student with a focus on neuroscience, I enjoy making biological concepts easier to understand. I connect ideas to real-life examples, explain complex topics clearly, and help students develop effective study strategies.
