In university, I studied General Linguistics which teaches about the science behind language learning - which will prove very helpful in language teaching.
Afrikaans
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCAfrikaans was a subject I always enjoyed due to my Dutch background, it sometimes came very naturally to me while at other times was a very interesting and new challenge when something was opposite to how it was in Dutch. I love the simple rules that Afrikaans has (unlike English).

I do a little bit of French every single day; making my phone's language French, reading an article, or listening to a song.
